E-Books: Are they helping kids become better readers?

Here is some food for thought .... An interesting article was published in my latest Parents magazine about the popular e-books that are currently swiping - I mean sweeping - the nation. It brings up some great questions about their effectiveness in supporting children's comprehension.

Going Live!

OK, so it has taken a little while, but now I have updated information in each of the tabs on my portfolio and I'm eager to have others take a look! Today, I'm spreading the word about this online portfolio and I hope it adequately demonstrates my skills and abilities as an educator. As I continue to grow in my craft, I will update this site and will eventually use is as a tool to collaborate with other teachers. For now, it will be one of many ways to showcase what I have to offer as a teacher in the 2012-2013 school year. Thanks again for visiting, and please leave me your comments! =]
