About Me

Lauren F. Kersey
After some time working in the corporate world, I returned to school at IUPUI to earn my teaching license. I am thoroughly looking forward to finally beginning my life's passion! I completed my Transition to Teaching Program in December 2011 and plan to complete my Master's of Education in the near future.

I firmly believe all students can and will learn. Therefore, I am committed to doing whatever is necessary to scaffold students along their individual journies to reach their highest academic potential. Differentiated instruction, project based learning, and immersion of quality, critical texts are routinely utilized in my teaching approach.
